Pole-mounted substation

Pole-mounted substations  are installed outdoors and used in areas with limited space and restricted floor area, such as shopping centers, high-rise buildings, hospitals, airports, trams, sidewalks, and parks. Additionally, they are also employed in industrial zones and manufacturing plants with voltages up to 35 kV and capacities typically less than 630 kVA.

The main components of a pole-mounted substation include the supporting pole, transformer, and switching and protection devices (such as self-blow fuses, surge arresters, disconnect switches, grounding systems, and low-voltage switchgear if required, which may contain protective devices such as MCCBs and MCBs).
