EEMC and VITZRO EM sign a cooperation agreement on research and development of GIS products.

On November 08, 2023, in Ansan, South Korea, a signing ceremony was held for a cooperation agreement on the research and development of GIS products between Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation – Joint Stock Company (EEMC) and Vitzro Em Co., Ltd.

Attending the signing ceremony, on the Vietnamese side were Mr. Ngô Sơn Hải – Deputy General Director of the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), Mr. Nguyễn Trọng Tiếu – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of EEMC, Mr. Nguyễn Vũ Cường – General Director of EEMC, along with representatives from several specialized departments of EVN and EEMC. On the Korean side were Mr. Youn, Young Gi – Vice Chairman of the Korea Electric Power Corporation (Kepco), Mr. Chang, Soon Sang – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vitzro, Mr. Yoo, Byung Eon – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vitzro, and Mr. Chang, Taek-Soo – President of Vitzro EM, along with representatives from Vitzro and Kepco.

This agreement on the research and development of GIS products marks an important milestone in the implementation of EEMC’s new product development strategy.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ngô Sơn Hải – Deputy General Director of EVN – highly appreciated the commitments made by the Vitzro group for the research and development of GIS products for EEMC, expressing confidence that, with the capabilities and determination of both sides, the project will soon succeed and introduce GIS products into the development of Vietnam’s power grid.

Mr. Youn, Young Gi – Vice Chairman of Kepco stated that Vitzro is a strategic partner supplying electrical equipment for Kepco in South Korea. He thanked Mr. Ngô Sơn Hải for his trust and for facilitating the cooperation between EEMC and VITZRO in researching and developing GIS products for the Vietnamese market, thereby contributing to further strengthening the friendly diplomatic relations between Vietnam and South Korea.

After the signing ceremony, the delegation toured Vitzro’s high-voltage GIS production plant, its medium and low voltage switchgear production facility, and visited Kepco’s Won-gok substation where GIS equipment manufactured by Vitzro is in use.

The signing ceremony was a great success, opening up new prospects on EEMC’s journey of development and deeper integration with the region and the world.
