ENERGIZATION OF THE FIRST 70 MVA – 132/33 kV TRANSFORMER IN AUSTRALIA

On December 9, 2025, the 70 MVA – 132/33 kV power transformer and the medium-voltage transformers designed and manufactured by Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation – JSC (EEMC) were successfully energized and put into operation at the Clements Gap BESS substation in South Australia.

The commissioning of the Clements Gap BESS substation has contributed to enhancing grid stability and strengthening the power supply capability in the region.

The successful energization of the first 70 MVA – 132/33 kV transformer in Australia marks an important milestone in EEMC’s journey toward entering the international market.
