EEMC AND POSCO INTERNATIONAL SIGN MOU TO ADVANCE OVERSEAS PROMOTION OF EEMC PRODUCTS

On 29 October 2026, Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation – Joint Stock Company (EEMC) and POSCO International signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at EEMC, marking a further step in their partnership. Alongside cooperation on electrical steel, also known as silicon steel, the signing reflects their intention to continue advancing the overseas promotion of EEMC products, building on activities that POSCO International has already undertaken and is currently pursuing.

POSCO International Supports Overseas Promotion of EEMC Products

POSCO International has been promoting and introducing EEMC products to customers in overseas markets and will continue these activities. Its decision to work with EEMC on product promotion reflects its recognition of, and confidence in, EEMC’s manufacturing capabilities. The relationship therefore extends beyond the supply and use of materials to helping EEMC-branded products reach international customers.

Signed on the foundation of this ongoing cooperation, the MoU provides a basis for the two companies to continue advancing product promotion and discussing specific areas of cooperation. It marks a further step in a partnership that encompasses both input materials and market development for EEMC products.

Electrical Steel Cooperation to Enhance EEMC Transformer Quality

Building on many years of using POSCO electrical steel, EEMC plans to apply this material across most of its transformer products in the coming period. Selecting premium grain-oriented electrical steel with strong magnetic properties, combined with optimized design and strict processing controls, will help reduce losses, improve efficiency, and support stable, reliable transformer operation.

The MoU builds on cooperation that EEMC and POSCO International have already undertaken and continue to pursue, connecting materials cooperation with overseas product promotion. POSCO International’s support reflects recognition of EEMC’s manufacturing capabilities and creates further opportunities to reach international customers. Alongside its focus on improving transformer quality and efficiency, EEMC continues to leverage its manufacturing capabilities to strengthen its domestic position and expand its international presence.
