EEMC Showcases 500 kV Power Transformers at Tech Connect Forum in Australia
On August 10, 2026, Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation (EEMC) participated in the exhibition held as part of the Tech Connect Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation, Education and Training, and Human Resource Development in Sydney, Australia, showcasing some of Vietnam’s notable products and technological capabilities.
The Forum was held as part of the State visit to Australia by General Secretary and President To Lam. On the morning of August 10, General Secretary and President To Lam attended and delivered remarks at the event, contributing to stronger Vietnam–Australia cooperation in science and technology, innovation, education and training, and human resource development.

At the exhibition, EEMC showcased two representative 500 kV power transformer models: a 500 kV – 300 MVA power transformer, forming part of a 500 kV – 3 × 300 MVA three-phase transformer bank, and a 500 kV – 467 MVA Generator Step-Up (GSU) transformer. These products demonstrate EEMC’s capabilities in the research, design, manufacturing, and testing of extra-high-voltage power transformers.

Through its participation in the Forum, EEMC further promoted its brand, strengthened connections with Australian partners, and explored new opportunities for cooperation in power grid infrastructure, renewable energy, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
In 2025, EEMC successfully exported a 132 kV – 70 MVA power transformer for the Clements Gap BESS project in Australia, marking an important milestone and providing a strong foundation for EEMC to further expand its presence in the Australian market.
Building upon these international expansion efforts, EEMC has currently collaborated with PSD Energy, based in Adelaide, Australia, to execute construction and installation works in Australia. As an experienced EPC contractor in major EPC energy projects, PSD Energy serves as a trusted and strategic partner of EEMC in the Australian market.
