EEMC Energizes Multiple 110–220 kV Power Transformers, Ensuring the Progress of EVNNPT and EVNNPC Projects

In October 2025 and early November 2025, Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation – JSC (EEMC) successfully completed the manufacturing, supply, and commissioning of a series of 110–220 kV power transformers for key projects of EVNNPT and EVNNPC. All projects were put into operation on schedule or ahead of plan, contributing to stable power supply, load reduction in critical areas, improved grid reliability, and enhanced operational efficiency of Vietnam’s power sector.

A number of key projects featuring EEMC-supplied power transformers have been completed on schedule, including:

• Gia Lộc 220 kV Substation: Equipped with two 220 kV – 250 MVA transformers, energized on 23/10/2025, ensuring reliable power supply for the Hai Duong – Hai Phong area (now Hai Phong City).
• 110 kV Substation connected to Gia Lộc 220 kV: A 110/35/22 kV – 63 MVA transformer manufactured by EEMC, energized on 25/10/2025, meeting the rapidly increasing industrial load demand.
• Phu Tho 2 – 220 kV Substation: A 220 kV – 250 MVA transformer energized on 03/11/2025, enhancing transmission capability and supporting the socio-economic development of Phu Tho Province.
• Bac Quang – 220 kV Substation: A 220 kV – 250 MVA transformer energized on 27/10/2025, enabling efficient power evacuation from hydropower plants during the rainy season.
• Muong Te (Lai Chau) – 220 kV Substation, Phase 3: EEMC supplied the third 220 kV – 250 MVA transformer, energized on 29/10/2025, completing the substation with a total capacity of 750 MVA and strengthening power evacuation from Northwest hydropower sources while improving national grid stability.
• Chau Son – 110 kV Substation (Ninh Binh): A 110/35/22 kV – 63 MVA transformer supplied by EEMC, energized on 02/11/2025, ensuring stable electricity supply for Chau Son Industrial Park and nearby areas.
• Duong Kinh – 220 kV Substation (Hai Phong): A 63 MVA – 115/23(11) kV transformer supplied by EEMC, energized on 08/11/2025, ensuring stable power for local loads and reducing burden on existing 220 kV transformers in Hai Phong City.

The continuous completion and successful energization of multiple major projects within a short period has affirmed EEMC’s strong manufacturing capability, professionalism, and brand reputation.
