DONG ANH ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT CORPORATION (EEMC) SUPPORTS PEOPLE AFFECTED BY STORM NO. 3

Storm No. 3, also known as Typhoon Yagi, has recently caused serious damage to Northern Vietnam. According to the latest update from the General Statistics Office, storm No. 3 is estimated to have caused preliminary damage of more than 60,000 billion VND to the northern provinces and cities. The GRDP growth of the provinces and cities and the country’s GDP not only decreased in the third quarter but also affected the fourth quarter; The forecast GDP growth rate for the whole year decreased by about 0.15% compared to the target of 6.8-7%.

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the spirit of “mutual love” and “The whole leaves cover the torn leaves”, from September 17 to 20, 2024, Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation (EEMC) made a working trip to visit, encourage and support the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces. In addition, the EEMC delegation also came to share and support local Power Companies: PC Tuyen Quang, PC Thai Nguyen, PC Bac Kan, PC Cao Bang and PC Thu Tho. These supports aim to help people and electricity workers in affected areas to quickly overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives. This action demonstrates EEMC’s spirit of solidarity and social responsibility towards the community in difficult times.

Previously, the Corporation’s staff also actively participated in supporting and contributing according to the call of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union and the EEMC Trade Union. The spirit of “loving others as you love yourself” has spread strongly in the EEMC community, affirming the solidarity and compassion of the collective.
